Advocates For People Experiencing Homelessness (AEPH)

The APEH Committee serves the unhoused members of our local community. The meetings are structured to foster discussion around the topic of homelessness and to inform the community of local efforts they can get involved with. This committee is dedicated to taking action. Meetings typically include either a hygiene kit build or collecting and organizing donations of some kind.

Please feel free to email unhoused@silverlakenc.org with any questions.

Land Acknowledgement

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council acknowledges all of the original stewards and inhabitants of the Los Angeles Basin, or Tovaangar, and their descendants. We pay tribute to the Gabrielino-Tongva (Toviscanga) people who lived and cared for Yaanga & Maawnga—the lands which include present day Silver Lake—as well as the Kizh, Chumash, & Fernandeno-Tataviam Band who also inhabited Tovaangar.
