Governing Board meeting takes place once a month on the first Wednesday of the month. The entire board is present and issues are formally voted on including funding issues. The Board, and attendees, also hears updates from local safety representatives, the Mayor’s office, Council District 4 and Council District 13 representatives, and Assembly District 52 representatives.
