Governing Board - Meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at the Micheltorena Street Elementary School Auditorium (1511 Micheltorena St.)
The 21-member Governing Board supervises and authorizes the activities of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council and its committees. There are two Boardmembers for each of the seven regions of the SLNC, and seven Members At Large, elected to represent all of Silver Lake. Members are elected to two-year terms. Boardmember elections are held each year in September. Any stakeholder 14 years of age or older is eligible to run for a seat on the Governing Board.
