The work conceived and performed at the committee level is the very spirit and foundation of all neighborhood councils. Each committee generally meets monthly and you can read each upcoming meeting's agenda and an archive of each committee's minutes. To join a committee, contact its Chairperson or just show up at a meeting. Everyone who attends is a “member” and encouraged to participate in the discussion and voting.
